Here was one of the nation's largest airports reacting in a very careful and cautionary way, presumably having been advised of a major threat. Tf that is in fact so, then other airports in the nation may well have been alerted or should have been alerted to what had caused such concern in Colorado.

If your staff colleagues are interested in looking further into this, they might contact Mr. Hildebrand (who is now President of the Swiss National Bank in Zurich, Switzerland) and his wife whom I am sure will describe in the same detail as they did to me a process they will never forget. [Mr. Philipp Hildebrand, BNS (National Bank of Switzerland), Borsenstrasse 15, Postfach 2800, CH-8022 Zurich, Switzerland, Tel: +41 (44) 631 31 11] Or they might contact the Denver airport authorities to see what their records indicate about that day. With great regard for die manner in which you are handling this investigation and with great respect for your continued public service, I am Sincerely,

J. vanden Heuvel
