Subject: Prep for Commissioners trip to Tampa
Bonnie Chris Kojm asked that you prepare some materials for Commissioners for the Tampa trip. He said it does not have to be a lot. "Keep it thin." He just wants a few pieces for them to read on the flight. I've forwarded you a piece Seymour Hersh did on what's going on in Afghanistan. That should be included with the other materials. Mike

Chris, My goal is to spend the weekend putting a package together that can be reviewed and then provided to the commissioners to review on their way to Tampa (Stephanie had mentioned to me earlier this week that this is a way forward). I had wanted to include copies of the slides from the briefings Philip, Mike and I received on April 9th, however, I have been informed that the commissioners cannot read classified documents on the plane. So, I will try to find adequate declassified documents (the classification issue is more of an issue regarding SOCOM because there is not much unclassified information on SOCOM). Anyway, I'll have something for you Monday.
