Our thanks to our S.F.E. student, Lic. Miriam MacDonald and her Supervisor, Rev. Dr. Ron MacLean for assisting in our worship service this morning.

Christmas Cantata Cantata choir rehearsals began last Thursday. All interested singers are invited to join the Sanctuary Choir for practice each Thursday from 7:00pm - 8:00pm for this special Christmas presentation. The Cantata will be performed on Sunday, December 20th.

Baptist Women’s World Day of Prayer Baptist Women’s World Day of Prayer will be held at Birch Cove Baptist on Monday, November 2nd @ 7:30pm.

Mission Tour Please be in prayer for Rev. Marlene Knowles and Rev. Shante Manuel as they take part in a two week mission tour to India with other ministers from our area. They will be teaching courses for Church leaders, Pastors as well as helping in an orphanage

Advance Notice C.L.A.S.S. If you missed CLASS 101 in October mark your calendar for Friday, November 20, 7:00pm and Saturday, November 21, 9:00am (morning only) and join us for an exciting basic introduction to who and what our church is. This course is especially helpful to those who are thinking of becoming Church members at Bedford Baptist. It’s also an excellent refresher course for mature Christians.

Bereavement As a caring community of faith and love we extend our sincere Christian sympathy to Nancy, Pastor Bob, Karissa, Ian, Victoria and Nancy’s mother, Ruby, on the death of their beloved husband, father and grandfather, Alfred Shuve, who passed away on Thursday, October 29th.

2010 Pre- Budget Church Meeting There is a church meeting scheduled for Tuesday, November 3rd, @7:00pm. The purpose of the meeting is for all boards and committees to share information on projected expenditures for initiatives/programs in 2010. This will support the Finance Committee in preparing the 2010 church budget. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend.

Friendship Circle Christmas Sale Christmas Craft/Bake Sale - Saturday, November 14th 10:00am-3:00pm. There will be crafts, books, new to you items and baked goods. Sale is being held in the Heffler Room and the 2’s and 3”s Room. Anyone wishing to donate items for the sale may leave them in the Heffler Room on Friday before the sale.
