THE CREED L: Let us all stand up and confess our faith together in the words of the Apostles’ Creed. I believe in God, the Father Almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell. On the third day he rose again. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, The holy catholic Church, The communion of saints, The forgiveness of sins, The resurrection of the body, And the life everlasting. Amen.

THE PRAYER OF THE CHURCH ( Please be seated) L: Lord God, we thank and praise you for your never-ending love for us. Through Jesus Christ you have saved us and set us free from the penalty and power of sin. Let all creation give you glory. C: Glory and praise belong to the Lord! ( The Liturgist says the prayer and for every petition, the congregation responds: Lord hear our prayers. ) OFFERING: L: As forgiven and reconciled people, let us offer ourselves as living sacrifices, hIoly and pleasing to God. (Lets sing “ALL TO YOU” as offering is being collected.)

THE OFFERTORY PRAYER L: Let us pray. Merciful God, C: You have created all things, and all things belong to You. We give you thanks for all your good provision for us, and we offer with thanks this money as signs of recognition that all we are and all that we have belong to You, and we are only your stewards on earth. Receive these gifts and bless them for your kingdom’s purposes. And bless us abundantly as we seek to serve you in caring each other and redeeming the earth through our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

HYMN OF INVITATION “COME TO THE TABLE (R174)”

THE HOLY EUCHARIST L: C: L: C: L: C:

The Lord be with you. And also with you. Lift up your hearts. We lift them to the Lord. Let us give thanks to the Lord our God. It is right to give God thanks and praise.

L: It is indeed right to give you thanks and praise. It is our duty and our joy that we should at all times and in all places offer thanks and praise to you, holy Father, almighty and eternal God, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who sent the Holy Spirit to comfort us, strengthen us, lead us, and empower us, as we proclaim the Gospel to all nations. Therefore, with the angels of heaven, and with your Church in heaven and on earth, we praise your name and join their unending hymn:

Sanctus Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts The whole earth is full of his glory The whole earth is full of his glory The whole earth is full of his glory Holy is the Lord!

You are indeed holy, O God. You are the Source of all goodness, life and light. You have brought life out of death, light out of darkness, reconciliation with God out of rejection and hatred of his Christ. In the night when he was betrayed, Our Lord Jesus took bread; He gave thanks, broke it And gave it to his disciples, Saying, Take and eat; This is my body, given for you. Do this

in remembrance of me. Again after supper, he took the cup and gave thanks, And gave it for them all to drink, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood, shed for you and for all people for the forgiveness of sin. Do this in remembrance of me.

We remember and we thank you. We also thank you for the promise and the giving of your Spirit to be with us as Comforter and Counselor. Come to us now, Spirit of our Risen Lord, abide with us; fill us anew with life and power; inhabit your people, and make us your living temple. Bring forth the life and serving of Jesus in us, among us, and through us. Open our eyes to see, our minds to know, our hearts to receive all that you have for us. C: AMEN! COME, HOLY SPIRIT! Our Father in Heaven, Hallowed be Your name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us today our daily bread and forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us. Save us from the time of trial and deliver us from evil. For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are Yours, now and forever. Amen L: May the Peace of the Lord be with you! C: And also with you! (Everyone is invited to join us. Receive a blessing, if you are not baptized, but please do not take the bread and wine. Please show this by crossing your arms in front of your breast. All baptized Christians are welcome to take the bread and wine.)
