To introduce and to assist Convention of Atlantic Baptist Churches (CABC) in understanding the “Connected for Mission Appeal”, Rev. Greg Jones will presenting a seminar here at Bedford Baptist on Tuesday, October 27 @7:30pm. This is a new three-year appeal for United in Mission. Then head to second base, where you’ll find the tools to develop a closer relationship with God. Then third base, you’ll begin to see how God specifically SHAPE’d you for ministry (Spiritual Gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality and Experience). Sunday Prayer Link Please pray for Atlantic Baptist University as well as Acadia Divinity College as they have recently received students for the new academic year. Pray for encouragement, discipline in studies, and for new friendships for their students.

Bereavement As a caring community of faith and love we extend our sincere Christian sympathy to Clara and Ross Scott on the death of Clara’s brother, Harold Dean Murphy, who passed away on Saturday October 10th, 2009.

Thank you from Beacon House The smallest good deed is better that the grandest intention. Many thanks to the folks who initiated and made the preparations for the “Harvest Gathering” Wow!
