It is usually used to recount daily events and often includes the expression of feelings and reflection on the events that had happened. The first statement of a journal entry generally gives an overview of what the entry would be about. For example: I had a wonderful time at the Bird Park today. Language •

It is not necessary to include a postscript in all friendly letters. Language Use of personal pronouns Example: I really enjoyed myself last week. Present Tense is used to describe your feelings or what is happening at the moment. Example: I am so happy that you wrote!
