Conferences are always to be determined by budget and approved by Executive Pastor. Specific Pastor Addendums
Extra Issues In our technological world many pastors may be able to perform duties at home or other places that are away from the office. This should only be done in extreme situations and with prior approval from Executive Pastor. Office hours are designed for maximum effectiveness. Doing office work at home during the day or evening hours is bad for team building. Working at night is contrary to our goal of quality family time for each pastor. All pastors will have a yearly evaluation conducted by the Executive Pastor __________________________________ Signature

Team Church Policy/Procedures Facilities Usage and Scheduling Background: The Team Church facilities were built to serve two important roles. First, the campus supports the various ministries by providing clean, safe and inviting spaces to the people who are members and attenders of the church. Second, the campus is an extension of Team Church’s commitment to being an outreach oriented church. The building and surrounding property are available for use under the following conditions and subject to availability: Guidelines: 1. Designated ministries of Team Church have first priority in scheduling events and activities on the campus. 2. Team Church ministry events that are outreach focused (exposing unchurched and dechurched people to God through Team Church) are encouraged to take advantage of this facility. 3. Specific “non-christian” organizations that request of the facilities will be considered on a case by case basis. A member of the staff must recommend approval and demonstrate the outreach potential by allowing this group to use the campus. (Examples of these organizations might be public sports organizations, home owner associations, booster clubs, high school sports teams) 4. Non-profit organizations that have as their purpose service to the community or are mission oriented will be considered on a case by case basis. (Examples of these might be Make A Wish Foundation, Crisis Pregnancy Center, Help Centers) 5. Christian organizations will not normally be permitted to use the facility, but can request use through one of the staff pastors. 6. Under no circumstances will an event be scheduled on campus that is “for profit” to the organization or any individual. 7. When organizations are permitted and scheduled to use the Team Church facilities, ministry and staff personnel that are required to support the event will be paid at the hourly rate of $25.00 per hour. Under no circumstances will Team Church sound and lighting equipment be operated by anyone other than Team Church personnel. 8. All spaces will be set up, torn down, and cleaned by the organization approved for facility usage. The Facilities Pastor can be scheduled to assist and manage the event at the hourly rate of $25.00 per hour. 9. To inquire about the availability of Team Church space or make a formal request, email

Team Church Policy/Procedures Staff Office and Organizational Guidelines Background: As Team Church continues to grow both in numbers and ministries, an expanding staff faces unique challenges to remaining close knit and relationally connected. It becomes important then, that all paid staff (full and part-time) use their time wisely when working from the office, and take advantage of the opportunities provided to build up and encourage the entire team. The following guidelines are provided to facilitate and preserve a positive organizational climate while at the same time, maximizing our effectiveness as a team: Bi-Weekly Staff Meetings: All paid staff are expected to attend the first portion of our bi-weekly staff meetings. This time will be used for staff to connect with one another and be provided information from the Lead Pastor intended to build camaraderie and staff cohesion. Staff Outings and Functions: Staff outings and functions are held for the primary purposes of training, teambuilding. They provide an excellent means of developing relationships amongst the staff in an informal environment. Unless designated staff members are specifically directed to attend these functions, everyone will be expected to participate in all staff events. Advance notice of these outings and functions will be provided to facilitate individual planning, and requests for exemption will only be considered due to illness or prior commitment. Staff Office Hours: Every paid staff member is required to work a minimum number of hours in the office each week. The presence of staff in the office allows for a participative environment, and the church benefits from the collaboration. Each ministry has its own unique requirements for off-site meetings and other events, therefore, full time staff should use their best judgment in managing their work week. A general rule of thumb is that unless ministry dictates otherwise, you are expected to work out of the office. Part time staff tend to work hours different from full-time staff, but must plan a consistent time when they are working in the office. The expectation is that the majority of paid work hours will take place on site. The bi-weekly staff meetings are considered on site hours for part time staff. Staff Dress Code: Our individual appearance and the clothing we wear make lasting impressions on the people we serve and conduct business with. The working environment at Team Church is a casual one, but it still requires that our attire is appropriate to our ministry. We live in a middle to upper-middle class community, so our attire should reflect the community which we represent. Clothing should be neat, clean and well taken care of. This is a matter of using good judgment. Any time a staff member goes off site for an appointment or meeting, “business casual” is the requirement. In the office, dress shorts are permitted. At all times, your attire should reflect the ministry you represent and the people you serve.

Staff Vacation/Personal Time Off (PTO) Guidelines Background: Every full time staff member at CSF accrues Vacation and Personal Time Off (PTO) days throughout the year. This time off is part of the compensation package provided to full time staff and is intended to allow each individual to refresh and rejuvenate themselves throughout the year. PTO is provided in order that scheduled one time events can be attended to at a minimum disruption to the ministries of the church. While Vacation and PTO are earned by each full time paid staff person, the following guidelines are provided in order to ensure that ministries operate at maximum effectiveness and there is equality across staff lines. Guidelines: 1. Vacation Days and PTO run through the calendar year (Jan 1 – Dec 31). Vacation and PTO time does not roll over into the following year. 2. Vacation dates should be planned and requested in advance. 3. PTO requests should be made with as much notice as possible. 4. Changes to already approved time off will not be permitted unless the change is requested in advance. 5. Your ministry must have leadership presence while you are on vacation. Multiple staff from the same ministry cannot be away at the same time. Advance coordination is essential, and semi-annual staff planning sessions are to be used to plan vacations. 6. Whenever possible, the length of vacations should be scheduled so that you are taking at least a full week off at a time. No less than 2/3 of total vacation time should be planned. This allows for you to gain the maximum benefit of the time off and minimizes disruptions to the ministry that are caused by shorter, yet more frequent breaks.
