Know Your Kids’ School Parents and guardians have the primary responsibility for protecting their children from all potential harm. When choosing a nursery, daycare center, or school, parents should inspect the building and grounds to make sure there are no areas where children play or work that are “off limits” to parents. Such facilities should have a policy that welcomes parents to visit the center or school without prior appointment. For more information about child safety programs in the Archdiocese, please call the Archdiocese’s Safeguard the Children Program Office, (213) 6377227. For particular help, you may call Assistance Ministry at (213) 637-7650

Non-perishable food drive at our 9am Family Mass Please drop off your food donations before our 9am and 10:30am Mass in the Chapter Room. Our children will bring the food to the altar during our gift procession. The children love to be little disciples in helping the poor and the needy.

Our 9am Family Mass welcomes your children’s participation! All children are invited to bring a nonperishable food item to the 9:00 o’clock Family Mass. Please meet Deborah at the back of the Church immediately after the collection. The children will join in the gift procession and place their food donation in the baskets by the altar. All food donations will help feed the homeless and needy. This program encourages our children to participate more actively in the liturgy. It also helps them to develop a sense of community outreach. Children will love being little disciples, and important instruments of God by caring for the less privileged. Adults are welcome to bring extra non-perishable food so that more children may participate. Thanks to the knights for transporting the food donations to the food bank after Mass.
