UBCM Community Connections Grant - Langley Fine Arts School Playground Report 09-10 File RCP 0400-30 That Council endorse the UBCM School Community Connections Program grant application in the maximum amount of $8,000 as prepared by School District #35 and Langley Fine Arts School PAC to support their playground replacement project. Heart Month 0630-01 Letter received from the Heart & Stroke Foundation of BC & Yukon requesting permission to hold its Personto-Person canvassing campaign to take place February 1 to February 28, 2009. Clerk's Note: Request Council to provide permission to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of BC Yukon to hold its Person-to-Person canvassing campaign.

Clerk's Note: Request Council to provide financial support with a minimum commitment of $25,000 for the 2009 Games.

Farm Machinery and Agricultural Museum Association requesting an additional $10,000 apart from their 2009 Capital Improvement Grant to complete their renovation project. Clerk's Note: Capital Improvement Grant application ($7,500) will be considered as part of the 2009 grant process. Current policy does not provide staff the ability to consider this additional $10,000 request.

decisions on a day to day basis; Therefore be it resolved that Township Council hold a workshop with Township’s Legal Counsel (Bull, Housser & Tupper) to review and discuss the rules and responsibilities of Mayor and Council; and further Be it resolved that this workshop occur within the next 45 days or whenever viably possible.
