South Fraser Family Court & Youth Justice Committee Terms of Reference File 0540-20 Letter received from Shirley Gust, Chair, South Fraser Family Court & Youth Justice Committee requesting that Council adopt a change to the Committees’ Terms of Reference as follows: That the committee revert to the 2004 Terms of Reference (ratified by all five member municipal Councils); and That the five member municipal Councils be requested to adopt a revision to the Terms of Reference to allow for the appointment of one Council member from each municipality to the Committee with voting rights. COUNCIL Recommendation that Council receive the recommendation of the EDAC Committee that Council consider the following principles when approving future developments: Emphasize mixed use development as a long term strategy that incorporates Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design principles and placemaking principles that supports long term sustainability of the Township; Encourage densification/intensification; Focus on urban village mixed use development (office/retail/residential); and Not consider exceptions to the above.
