OBJECTIVE: The aim of this assignment is to equip learners with the knowledge, skills, and understanding of the major theoretical approaches in the study of sociology of education, and finally to enable learners to apply the knowledge and skills in addressing education and schooling issues. Objektif: Tujuan tugasan ini adalah untuk melengkapkan pelajar dengan pengetahuan, kemahiran dan kefahaman tentang pendekatan teori yang utama dalam kajian sosiologi pendidikan, dan akhirnya untuk membolehkan pelajar untuk mengaplikasikan pengetahuan dan kemahiran dalam menangani Pendidikan dan isu-isu persekolahan.

In the field of sociology of education, educators need to equip themselves with an in-depth knowledge of the various theoretical approaches in education to enable them to have greater insights in the study of education organisations. Task 1 You are required to identify a school, and then interview TWO teachers on the formal and informal school system including the hidden curriculum, and the reproduction theory which are a significant part of the entire school system.
