Rationale: WHMIS certification will shortly be required for all staff working in any school environment where chemicals are present. As these are areas are of interest to me, this certification is a must.
SMART Goal
I will complete and pass the online WHMIS course by April 26, 2019, and have the certificate in my possession.

Rationale: The district is lacking industrial arts and tech teachers, and have several positions needing to be filled next winter. To be considered for these positons I will have to be on the eligible to hire list. I spoke to the district about this already, and they told me to apply once I was on my practicum.
