MTHS KEY CLUB ACTIVITY SHEET Monday, September 21, 2009 (Day 2) Club Website: www.montville.net/highschool/keyclub General E-Mail: [email protected] When signing up for events e-mail the appropriate chairperson with your FULL NAME, GRADE, PHONE NUMBER AND TIME SHIFT, if applicable. TODAY, SEPTEMBER 21: Pick up a membership packet so you can sign up for the 2009-2010 service year! Forms are due no later than Monday, October 5. Submit them in Room 411, or in Ms. Racanelli/Ms. Rubino’s mailbox in the main office. No Key Club officer will be held liable for them! Questions? Contact President Kristine Naputo at [email protected] TODAY, SEPTEMBER 21: Sign up to be on our year-round Art Committee! Do you enjoy making posters/flyers and designing bulletin boards/showcases? Then earn hours by serving on the Art Committee! There is a brief meeting TODAY at 2:30 in room 411. If you would like to join this committee, but cannot attend the meeting, e-mail Historian Yeshda Kumar at [email protected] THIS THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 24: Sign up to be on our year-round Public Relations Committee! Are you interested in hanging up flyers and spreading the word about Key Club events? Then earn hours by serving on the PR Committee! Come to the meeting this Thursday at 2:30 in room 411. If you would like to join this committee, but cannot attend the meeting, e-mail PR Director Andrew Lee at [email protected] THIS THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 24: Back-to-School Night Members needed to hand out maps and assist parents in finding classrooms. Tell your parents to visit our table that night! Time/Location: Meet 6:15 PM in the rotunda; Please dress nicely—no sneakers! All interested members MUST sign up by TOMORROW, September 22 if they would like to attend. [email protected] if you have any questions. Saturday, October 3: Town-wide Roadside Cleanup Help keep our town clean by collecting garbage along busy roads. Time/Location: 8:30 AM at the old police station on River Road Chairperson: PR Director Andrew Lee, [email protected] Saturday, October 10: Montville Field Corps Home Competition Members needed to man the entrance tables, donation table, and assist at the snack shack. Time/Location: TBA, Check your e-mail and listen to announcements for updates Chairpersons: TBA, but you may contact President Kristine Naputo at [email protected] if you have any questions. Sunday, October 11: Fall Rally at Six Flags Great Adventure Come learn more about Key Club, meet members from all over New Jersey, AND spend the day at Six Flags! Please see separate permission slip to sign-up. 80-person limit, so this is a first-come-first-serve basis!! Note: Those of you who signed up early for Key Club last year, you DO have a priority seating to Fall Rally; however, you ARE STILL REQUIRED TO SUBMIT THE PERMISSION SLIP AND PAY THE FEE. Due no later than Thursday, October 1! Hand in forms in room 411 or in Ms. Racanelli/Ms. Rubino’s mailbox in the main office Sunday, October 11: “Tools 4 Schools” School Supply Drive for Fall Rally Bring in any unused school supplies to be donated to the Community Food Bank of New Jersey. All items must be given in a bag with your name written on it. (If you do not write your name, we cannot credit you for these hours!) Bring your donations with you when you come to Fall Rally, or drop them off in room 411. Chairperson: Vice President Meenakshi Mehra, [email protected]. Hours will be given accordingly. Sunday, October 18: Hunger Walk Join people from all over Morris County in a walk-a-thon to raise money for the Community Soup Kitchen of Morristown! Pick up a sponsorship form and be sure to bring it with you when you come to this event. Make any checks payable to: Community Soup Kitchen.
