Kiwanis Pasta Dinner Officer Applications

The annual Kiwanis Pasta Dinner will be held in the MTHS Cafeteria on March 29, 2009. Every year, Key Clubbers volunteer to help seat guests, wait on tables, and serve dinner. Mohamed Shaltout This event is usually one of our more popular Rachel Shoulder events. Tickets for the Kiwanis Pasta Dinner will be sold during lunch on March 13, 19, 20, Brian Sung 26, 27 during lunch in the rotunda. Key ClubMike Xie bers will receive one hour if their family atDennis Zhou tends the Eric Zilber Pasta Ian Zlotnik Dinner. This year, the School of Rock Band is performing! Interested in becoming a Key Club officer? Applications for all officer positions (not including President & Vice President) will be available to all active general members in grades 9-11. The following officer positions are open to all members who apply: Recording Secretary Corresponding Secretary Editor Treasurer Membership Director *DO NOT APPLY SPECIFICALLY FOR THIS POSITION! Apply for another position and indicate your interest for Membership Director somewhere in your application. This position is appointed from a pool of applicants.

All applicants for officer positions must obtain the service contract for their position and sign it in addition to completing the application. Applications are due no later than Tuesday, March 24, 2009. Applications will not be accepted afterwards.

Kiwanis Toiletries Drive The Kiwanis Club of Montville is holding a Toiletries Drive! For the entire month of March, Key Clubbers will collect and send toiletries, instead of food as we did in November. We will be collecting items such as shampoos, deodorants, soaps, etc. This event was created to

increase the amount of donations in March, because people tend to stop donating after the holiday season. Hopefully we can generate as much of a response as we did in November! Drop off your items in room 411 labeled with your name and grade. For more information about this Toiletries Drive, please contact Kristine Naputo at [email protected].

On February 27, 2009 our Key Club held the most successful VBM ever! Every part of the event went without flaw. The food was great, the decorations looked awesome and all games went without a glitch. Together, we raised about $5,535! We had 63 teams in attendance and about 450 players total! Last year we had only 31 teams and we raised about $2,900! Special thanks to the Kiwanis Club of Montville and all general members that played, attended, decorated, helped secure food donations and much more!

March of Dimes is April 26! FIND OUT MORE INFORMATION AT THE MARCH 30TH GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING! CONGRATULATIONS TO NICOLE DARRAH! Nicole will be replacing Aymbré Paige as Lieutenant Governor for Division 19! She will take office on April 19, 2009!
