INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE

City Attorney

As a legal intern, I work with attorneys and paralegals daily on various tasks. I am responsible for preparing and briefing fiscal notes for the city, as well as other miscellaneous legal research projects. I also run errands for the office, typically to Springfield City Hall and the Greene County Circuit Courthouse.

Hosmer, King, and Royce LLC

I am expected daily to represent the law firm in a polished manner in running errands to the Greene County Courthouse, Public Administrator's Office, and the Greene County Probate Court office. I also assist both paralegals and attorneys in their daily tasks.

I work daily with student and staff to resolve various technology issues ranging from Wifi set up to installing hardware programs. In order to be proficient in daily operations, I must be pleasant on the phone and in person and put others' needs before my own. Communication is key as well.
