EXPERIENCE AIR QUALITY LABORATORY ASSISTANT | 01/2019-PRESENT I assist Dr. Michael Hannigan, associate professor for the CU Mechanical Engineering department, on the REACCTING initiative. I conduct air-quality laboratory research by running organic/elemental carbon testing and collecting gas chromatography–mass spectrometry data on filters gathered in Ghana. The findings are used for air pollution abatement in partnership with the U.S. National Science Foundation, the U.S. EPA, the Ghana EPA, and NCAR. ATOMSPHERIC & OCEANIC SCIENCE RESEARCH ASSISTANT | 08/2018-PRESENT With Dr. Katja Friedrich, I code and conduct cloud-seeding radar data analysis for the NCAR SNOWIE project. My research position also contributes to the University of Colorado Boulder Atmospheric and Oceanic Science department.

SKILLS SOFTWARE Microsoft Office | Visual Basic for Applications | LATEX | MATLAB | IDL | Unix | Emacs | Wolfram Mathematica FIELDWORK • Kilimanjaro Region, Tanzania | I conducted anthropological ethnographic research to study the cultural responses of rural communities to local environmental challenges. • Turneffe Atoll, Belize | I studied environmental injustice issues and corresponding solutions with Ecology Project International.

LEADERSHIP & VOLUNTEERING KILL-A-WATT CAMPAIGN| JUNE 2017 I produced a 30-page research report and presented a proposal in Durango, Colorado Springs, and Anaheim, California. As a result, over 200 LED lights were installed throughout the Durango School District, and a high school Environmental Center was founded. Additionally, the Kill-A-Watt campaign garnered front-page coverage in the Durango Herald and received recognition from the honorary Daily Points of Light Award, the Colorado House of Representatives, and the U.S. Senate.

DAILY POINTS OF LIGHT RECIPIENT| JUNE 2017 I received the Daily Points of Light Award from the world’s largest volunteer service organization for my efforts in implementing energy efficient solutions throughout a local school district. YOUTH LEADERSHIP COUNCIL CO STATE REPRESENTATIVE | JUNE 2016 – 2017 After receiving scholarships from La Plata Electric Association to attend the Washington DC Youth Tour, I was elected as the Colorado State Representative to the Youth Leadership Council of the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association, attending conferences in Washington DC as well as San Diego, CA.
