The Branch Manager Electro - Mechanical works direct under the Operation and Technical Management and is responsible for all electro – mechanical aspects regarding Installation, Operation and Maintenance of all water supply, treatment plants and vehicles in KUKL.



The main activities are in supervising all electro – mechanical works related activities Major Responsibilities are:



Program,

Plan

and

supervise

all

scheduled

and

unscheduled emergency electrical – mechanical works related to water supply, Treatment facilities and Vehicles 

Approve, coordinate and control all purchase done from this Branch



Evaluate, process and record all repair data’s of the electrical- mechanical works and make them available to

the Operation and Technical Management 

Plan, inspect and control works of the electricalmechanical section



Prepare

reports

to

Operation

and

Technical

Management on work plan and work executed, problems encountered 

Advise Operation and Technical Management



Conduct inspection and correction related to safety, security and occupational health



Carry out appraisal on energy management, report developments and propose improvements



Conduct regular meeting with all Staff of the section,



Coordinate with all relevant authorities like Nepal Electricity Authority and Branch Manager in repair, rehabilitation and construction measures related to electrical-mechanical works



Advice and train staff in matters related to their work



Supervision of electrical - mechanical works done by contractors



Participate on all relevant meetings in KUKL and other authorities



To familiarize himself with new electrical-mechanical equipment and methods



Perform other duties as assigned by the Operation and Technical Management.
