Position Purpose & Summary

The Project Coordinator I is responsible for coordination of training and technical assistance activities for the program, along with administrative oversight of day-to-day functions of the program.

2. PROGRAM SERVICES/OVERSIGHT A. Provides administrative oversight for program B. Organizes program meetings and trainings and prepares materials for meetings and trainings C. Completes program meeting minutes and disseminates to relevant partners D. Maintains fiscal records and manages internal program budget, including coordination with external funders.

Duties & Responsibilities (In order of importance) 1. Demonstrates behaviors in concert with hospital mission, values, policies, & procedures.

A. Establishes and maintains relationships with CHLA Early Childhood faculty & staff, CII program personnel, USC Evaluation team, DMH key contacts, and DCFS partners, along with key community agencies providing services to children served by the program B. Maintains contact and communication with members of the Governance Board & the Clinical Network 4. TECHNICAL ASSISTANEC/TRAIING/DISSEMINATION A. Develops training and technical assistance for clinical staff, key program personnel, and community partners in collaboration with Program Director, National TA team, and local TA/Training Committee

B. Assists with arranging for staff attendance at trainings and conferences under direction of Program Director C. Assists with dissemination of materials developed by local program D. Collaborates with national TA team as necessary 5. PROGRAM DOCUMENTATONI/EVALUATION A. Monitors timelines and documentation for program as mandated by federal funding source (SAMHSA) B. Oversees reporting and documentation for program C. Ensures compliance with funding reporting requirements; submits required reports to the project coordinator; and is responsible for project documentation and coordination with evaluators in the collection of program evaluation data D. Assists with preparation of required federal reports and documents 6. RESEARCH Participates in other activities that meet the overall mission of the program and hospital.

Minimum Education/Training Required Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education or health-related field, or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.

Minimum Experience Required 1.

Experience working with multiple systems & meeting their requirements for reporting, data collection, management, and collaboration.
