Literacy Volunteers of Quebec (LVQ) Job Posting Literacy Volunteers of Quebec (LVQ), the provincial voice of community, volunteer-based literacy for English-speaking adult Quebecers, is celebrating its 30th birthday in 2010! As such, we are looking for an individual to research and document the history of LVQ. The Project Agent would be expected to: 1) Research and document the history of LVQ, starting with it’s establishment in 1980 up to the current day; 2) Interview relevant individuals; 3) Document the information in an electronic format (i.e. Word or other software); 4) Coordinate the graphic design; 5) Coordinate printing; and 6) Work under the supervision of the LVQ Executive Director. Interested candidates should: • Be familiar with LVQ’s mission and activities; • Previous experience in the literacy field is an asset, but is not necessary; • Be able to work from a home office; • Be familiar with MS Word. Terms and Conditions - Salary is $2,500 and is based on an estimate of 100 hours of work. - Contract is to be completed by June 30, 2010.
