Diver lock out and inspect the location of where smart flange to be installed. Clear the required area of working place. Cut mud met from centre of pipeline using wire cutter or knife. Install the 5 ton lift bag 5 mtr behind the edge of the pipeline with proper hold back and all safety procedure (hold back should be on mud met. Lift pipeline by inflating bag about 2 mtr. Send down grout bag to diver. Diver spot the pipeline 3 or 4 mtr behind the end of the pipeline. Deflate lift bag 50% and inspect the pipeline height from bottom, should be about 1 mtr or in working range. Start cutting concrete and removal of corrosion coating as required to bare metal. Install 2 x 1.5 ton of turfer either side of pipeline @ 3 o/c otr @ 9 o/c (3 mtr back). Inspect edge of pipeline if required grind the part of edge. Comedown on smart flange & blind flange by crane with beacon, and 3 ton of lift bag on smart flange to transfer load from crane. Note: Light stick to be hang with smart flange. Diver will stop load 2 mtr away and 2 mtr high and pass both turfer wire through the smart flange hole 3 o/c and 9 o/c and take weight on turfer. Secure trip rope of lift bag on pipeline. Inflate lift bag as required to transfer load and slack crane. Make load neutral buoyant as possible and unhook crane. Diver starts coming up on both turfer and insert S/F on pipeline upto marking. Diver knock out spacer between the blind and smart flange. Install Ax ring and insert original studs 100% and start tightening nuts by hand spanner.Make sure that Ax ring inside slot (grove) Once Ax ring in position, insert all studs and make tight by hand spanner. Once gap is equally all round, then install 50% hyd jack and go for tightening as per chart given by Field Engineer. Start Annulus test. If ok, Derig all gear.
