PRESS STATEMENT BY SYED JAMALUDDIN MQM´s denial in its involvement in the making of an independent state for Urdu speaking nation called Republic of Jinnahpur is baseless and an attempt to conceal facts. MQM was made with the slogan of achieving rights for the Urdu speaking nation living under the military siege of Pakistan´s Punjabi army. The main objective of formation of MOHAJIR QAUMI MOVEMENT was to fight for the rights of Urdu speaking nation and in order to do so, to struggle for an independent country for such migrants from India who had settled in the urban areas of Sindh province. The transformation of MOHAJIR QAUMI MOVEMENT to MUTTAHIDA QAUMI MOVEMENT was also result of a DEAL between Altaf Hussain and Establishment. The Establishment had offered several incentives to Altaf Hussain in exchange of giving up the main objective of MQM concerning the rights of Urdu speaking nation. This DEAL was executed in early 1993 in London. Just like 9-11 when USA had put pressure on Pakistan to become its ally on socalled war on terror, in the similar pattern, Altaf Hussain was blackmailed to cooperate with the then Establishment in order to earn peace for the Urdu speaking nation living in Karachi and Hyderabad. Altaf Hussain was threatened of dire consequences and a massive crackdown on the entire urdu speaking nation in a way to wipe off urdu speaking people from the soil of Pakistan. That is to say, Altaf Hussain was confronted with the threat of a GENOCIDE of urdu speaking nation. Altaf Hussain being a coward like General (retired) Pervez Musharraf had to back out from his own philosophy and had to change the main manifesto of MQM. The whole Urdu speaking nation was betrayed by Altaf Hussain so much so that the plan to make Jinnahpur was also shelved without any proper reasoning. Several thousand MQM workers gave their lives in hope for an independent country of their own but due to Altaf Hussain´s DEAL with the Establishment, the plan for formation of Republic of Jinnahpur was abandoned. Some elements inside MQM did protest on this sudden change in the manifesto of MQM and had a fight with the supporters of Altaf Hussain. In this physical fight, Altaf Hussain also received a gun shot in his leg. He was hospitalized at ABBASI SHAHEED HOSPITAL in Paposh Nagar, Nazimabad. The then CM came to see Altaf Hussain at the said hospital and informed him that the plan of Jinnahpur has been exposed to certain secret agencies who have made a strategy to crack down on MQM in few days. Altaf Hussain had no trust on MQM guards from Karachi unit and therefore security guards from MQM Hyderabad unit were taking care of Altaf Hussain´s security at the said hospital. In next few days, Altaf Hussain left the said hospital during midnight and found his way out of

Pakistan by using a false identity. Altaf Hussain had used a passport with UK visa of a different person. If Altaf Hussain denies this particular fact, he is a big liar. A person like Altaf Hussain who had fled the country with a fake identity at a moment when the entire urdu speaking nation was depending on him simply shows that Altaf Hussain was a coward and did not want to die helplessly by the secret agencies in similar pattern like several thousand innocent MQM workers who had given their lives for an independent Jinnahpur and not for MOHAJIR QAUMI MOVEMENT to become a tool of Establishment and becoming MUTTAHIDA QAUMI MOVEMENT contest elections in Azad Kashmir or parts of Punjab. Dr. Farooq Sattar who was sentenced for 14 years in a corruption case also came out of jail some years later because of Altaf Hussain´s DEAL with the Establishment. Today, we hear of NRO. This is second NRO in the history of Pakistan. First NRO which was `unofficial` was the one under which several MQM leaders earned their freedom from any further persecution. Even Dr. Ishratul Ibad is also result of such NRO agreed between Altaf Hussain and the Establishment. Salim Shahzad, the famous terrorist is also one of the beneficiaries of such NRO apart from Dr. Imran Farooq and Wasim Akhtar. As far as I know, Wasim Akhtar is involved in murder of 15 MQM-Haqiqui workers in Landhi and Korangi. Wasim Akhtar had himself supervised murder of such 15 MQM- Haqiqui workers. This is a fact known to almost all MQM workers both in Karachi and Hyderabad. Death of Mansoor Chacha was also plotted by Wasim Akhtar and his squad. Currently, the rights of urdu speaking nation have been hijacked by Altaf Hussain and his kitchen cabinet. Altaf Hussain has been successful in brainwashing the innocent urdu speaking people by diverting their minds from Jinnahpur to slavery under the siege of Establishment. Altaf Hussain never wore SINDHI CAP all his life and always talked against Punjab and Sindh but as a result of his DEAL with the Establishment he began to wear Sindhi cap. By wearing Sindhi cap cannot change the reality of Altaf Hussain. Altaf Hussain shall remain an urdu speaking mohajir of Karachi. In my opinion, Altaf Hussain who has himself become a self-styled IMAM MEHDI of Urdu speaking nation has no right to forgive the blood of several thousand MQM workers. I have written the book FORMATION OF REPUBLIC OF JINNAHPUR with the aim of documenting the philosophy of Jinnahpur being a country for urdu speaking nation which had migrated from India to Pakistan in 1947 with the hope of true freedom but they got deprivation, hatred, quota system, lack of representation and above all classified as third class citizens of Pakistan. Founder of Pakistan was from Karachi but the rulers from Punjab and Sindh treated urdu speaking nation as Indian Agents. Today, Altaf Hussain and his kitchen cabinet have given up the concept of Jinnahpur as a result of their DEAL with the Establishment, but millions of Mohajir youth will never forget their aim of having an independent country called Republic of Jinnahpur. In line with the DEAL between the

Establishment and Altaf Hussain, people like Brigadier (Retired) Imtiaz and Lt. General (Retired) Asad Durrani are coming out of their graves to defame Nawaz Sharif just to keep General (Retired) Pervez Musharraf unharmed under any Constitutional punishment. It is highly disappointing that MQM being the sole representative party of urdu speaking nation is being used by the Establishment for their own desires. In such a situation if Altaf Hussain refuses to return to his original plan of making Jinnahpur, I shall come forward to lead the urdu speaking youth in implementing MQM ´s genuine agenda of forming Jinnahpur. Recently, I sent a letter to Altaf Hussain (see www.jinnahpur.blogspot.com) in which I requested to Altaf Hussain not to do things for temporary benefits. Altaf Hussain should come back to his original mission of making Jinnahpur.
