Position Paper "Momo Challenge, Agree or Disagree" Recently February 26,2019 an eleven years old Grade 6 graduating student is died by over overdose of drugs, the incident is linked to the new viral Challenge which is the Momo Challenge, what is Momo Challenge? How this linked to the eleven year old boy? As Cited by Wikipedia, The "Momo Challenge" is a hoax and urban legend about a nonexistent social media challenge that was spread on Facebook and other media outlets (Waterson, 2019). It was reported that children and adolescents were being enticed by a user named Momo to perform a series of dangerous tasks including violent attacks and suicide (Waterson, 2019). Once the user have created a contact with the admin of Momo and accepts the game, the Momo will send Violent Pictures and Threats to the user If he/she wants to leave the game, meaning to say there's no quit when entered the game and the user must accomplish the task given by the Momo. The admin of Momo after the user starts contact with her, Momo will ask the user or player to send his/her email, picture, and any other information, the admin send a spyware to the player so that she will be able to know what the player wearing in the current time, what is the address of player so that if he/she wants to quit Momo will send a threat to the user. It is like the Blue Whale Challenge. Blue Whale Challenge is a social network phenomenon dating from 2016 that is claimed to exist in several countries. It is a "game" reportedly consisting of a series of tasks assigned to players by administrators over a 50-day period, initially innocuous before introducing elements of self-harm and the final challenge requiring the player to commit suicide. I will oppose to this kind of an online game, we don't need to try this kind of game if you risks you life, the admin of the game truly have nonsense doing by letting other people die on their threats. Still if you want to try this Challenge then do not attempt even if there are still guides to confuse admins of the game they might catch you up if you made a mistake. In recent Momo Victims here in Philippines, a 15 years old named Jun, claimed he escaped from armed men who kidnapped him along with other children. Jun, a Grade 9 student, said he became aware of the Momo Challenge through social media. Jun claimed he has no mobile phone and played the game at a computer shop. The Momo master had ordered him to go on a challenge the following day. Jun was allegedly instructed to run away and disappear and go home in the evening. The order was done through chat messaging and in English. He was also told to delete the conversation history (Philstar, 2019). Maybe you are now well informed, I suggest do not try to play this kind of game, being aware is enough but if you are importunate, then try it at your own risk and be ready to face its consequences. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.philstar.com/headlines/2019/03/02/1897987/15-year-old-latest-victim-momo-challenge/amp/ https://https-en-m-wikipedia-org.0.freebasics.com/wiki/Momo_Challenge?iorg_domain_internal=google.com.ph%3BAfqovYGIFnVtIreZ
