Inter office communication: Sub: Requirement of portable Wooden Cabins, two nos. to house security personnel for monitoring the security in TPP Premises . Ref:

In continuation to above and subsequent to discussions held with you, please find the details of our requirements for further actions from your end. Two cabins each sized 8 feet x 12 feet shall be required for placing at discrete locations in TPP premises so that watch man for guard of TPP materials can be placed . Similar wooden cabin , compatible to our requirements, is supplied by M/s Shelter Incorporation, Mumbai .They have supplied such two cabins to one of our civil contractor M/s Gannon Dunkerley and Company Mumbai working at TPP Mundra for 5 x 660 MW. [Copy enclosed here with for the reference and perusal please]. Cost of one cabin sized 8’ x 12’ shall be Rs.55, 000.00 Therefore the cost of two such cabins shall be Rs1, 10,000.00 The quotation received by e mail from the Agency is enclosed. In view of above merits, it is requested to approve the expenditure of Rs. 1, 10,000.00 and accord approval for the purchase. The under mentioned specifications shall be same for both the cabins. 1.

Cabin

12 feet x 8 feet.

Doors

1 number of size 3.0 feet x 7 feet with MS frame and wooden paneled

Windows

Aluminum fabricated having size: 3’x 3’ – 2 Nos.

Base:

Wooden platform: Grid work of wooden members having size 4 inch x 2 inch with 16 mm thick waterproof marine ply for flooring.

Side Walls

Roof

Pinewood framework for walls: 2.5 inch x 1.25 inch 9mm thick waterproof marine ply for outer wall cladding. Pinewood frame work with aluminum sheet mounted on top(outer)side. Internally paneled with 6mm thick marine plywood.

7.

Painting

Inside and outside painting of cabin with two coats of enamel paint [approved shade and make] over one coat of primer including preparing and finishing, with Primer & Putty, surfaces to receive the paint
