PURPOSE/S

to realize its aims of rationalizing the industry through constant monitoring of mined and quarry areas, informtion education campaign relative to safety mining standards, enforcement of scale mining laws and other relevant rule/regulation and other relevant rules/regulation and ordinances it aims at strenggthening and keeping the Provincial Mining Regulatory Board (PMRB) functional by providing the necessary funding support

to continue to put more efforts and resources on urban greening for women nd men in sub-urban and urban areas to be aware on climate change impacts and be more active on environment and natural resources protection to reduce vulnerability and practicability for them for them to avail of the advantages of green spaces such as improved air quality; reduced heat built -up in parking lots and thoroughfares; reduced energy consumption through the countered warming ffects of paved surfaces. it aims at mitigating the impacts of climate change through heightened compliance to RA 9003 thereby reducing GHG, particularly methane emission in the province

to conserve and protect fresh bodies of water such as rivers, stream, spring,creeks as well as coastal and marine waters. It will move towards crafting of legal instruments for protection of said bodies of water as well as community organizing and will venture on public snd private partnership (PPP) for program sustainability.
