CUPERTINO – Meg Whitman, Republican candidate for Governor, today announced new members of her 2010 Gubernatorial Finance Committee. They join more than 110 Finance Committee members announced earlier this year, making a total of more than 200 men and women throughout the state who have pledged to help Whitman raise funds for her campaign. “I am honored to have the support of so many Californians who share my vision for growing jobs and stopping wasteful spending in Sacramento,” Whitman said. “Attracting these new committee members not only shows growing momentum in my campaign, but demonstrates a common commitment to fixing California.” Whitman believes the next Governor has to focus on three things to save our state; she must create jobs, cut spending and fix our broken education system. The new members of her Finance Committee will help encourage more Californians to contribute to Whitman’s campaign and deliver her message to voters.
