Position of operation being recorded is position four in severe weather which covers the whole national air space system. I hereby certify that the following is a true rerecording of the original recorded transmissions pertaining to the events of 9-11. My name is Troy Gascoin, and I'm employed as a quality assurance specialist at the command center. Time now is 1230 and 30 seconds. This is the first transmission on this line pertaining to the events of 9-11. UNIDENTIFIED SPEAKER: TSDII — UNIDENTIFIED SPEAKER: Primary only. Primary only. Wait one second, boss. MALE 1: I've been trying to reach him, man. I haven't been able to reach him. UNIDENTIFIED SPEAKER: Well, Boston center claims that they lost radio communication with the aircraft and the transponder, and also, they are tracking the primary target at this point. It was last nine at flight level 290. He appears to have turned south, southwest bound and. And also, there was some mention of some sort of a threat being made or, a threat to the cockpit or a threat and, in the cockpit. Boston is uncertain exactly what was said. I guess they are going to try to pull the tapes as quick as they can. MALE 1: Tom, where can I reach you back? MALE. 2: |_
