BY HAND Daniel Marcus, Esq. General Counsel National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States 26 Federal Plaza, Suite 13-100 New York, N.Y. 10007 Re: Response to 9/11 Commission Subpoena Dear Mr. Marcus: This supplements my letters of December 3 and December 10 and completes the City of New York's production of redacted transcripts of firefighter oral history interviews in response to the subpoena served by the 9/11 Commission on the City on November 24, 2003 and pursuant to the provisions of the Agreement between the City and the Commission dated Decembers, 2003. As noted in my letter of December 10, the City has been working to ensure that its production of the redacted transcripts of firefighter interviews is complete. We have finished our review and, as a result, are now enclosing 37 additional redacted transcripts. This will provide the 9/11 Commission with a full set of 504 redacted transcripts. The number of transcripts is 504 - not 500 as previously anticipated - as four firefighters were interviewed twice and these interviews were previously categorized as duplicates. The total number of redacted transcripts provided to the 9/11 Commission amounts to more than 504 because duplicate transcripts were inadvertently included among the transcripts that were sent to the Commission on December 3 and December 10. All 504 transcripts in unredacted form are available for review at our offices.
