INCIDENTS There were a total of 9 incident reports filed in November 2009, the same s October 2009. 8/11/2009 Malicious Damage At approx 0007 guards observed a group of five males enter the park in the Transgrid area. Two males began to kick down the barricades in place to stop people crossing the bridge and shake the camera pole.Guards responded, Young persons were moved on, however, damage to windows and dog waste bag dispensers was noticed. Police contacted and arrested offenders at Redfern Train station.Footage of the males entire time on the ATP grounds has been given to Redfern Police Securesuite. 14/11/2009 Information 2 youths removed from site skateboardiong Nicta Building/Locomotive 18/11/2009 Suspicious Person/s Female walking inside NIC building and Bay 4-8 all levels, seemed suspicious to tenatnts. Spoken to by Guard, indicated she was just looking around. Level via NIC steps towards railway. 19/11/2009 Information Skateboarders removed from park. 21/11/2009 Suspicious Person/s Male person checking doors on Locomotive Street. Spoken to by Guard, indicated he had been to hospital and was just realeased. He said he was not too well, he was looking for a bus or train and wondered why the railkway doors were shut. Sat down for a whil ena given a drink before being escorted towards railway. Male person near Railcorp fence and colourbond compound at NIC checked lock, Guard attended site, however, male had left via steps to Railway. Lock checked and intact. 23/11/2009 Maintenace Pedestrian sign outside Bay 12 snapped off by wind. 24/11/2009 Information CVnr Bicta and Locomotive Street, 2 youths jumping off stairs. Advised to leave by guard. Complied. 27/11/2009 Motor Vehicle Accident Middle carpark, 4WD reversing into parking space struck a Subaru. Details provided by driver of 4WD. 29/11/2009 Aggressive Persons Male falling asleep on seat plaza area near NIC. Was abusive, was moved on towards Henderson Street. Grand Total

In the month of October there were 18 Maintenance Issues raised

Internal fire stair door found with a missing lock on level 1 Cancer Institute Biomedical building. There is a wasps nest at the doorway to Biomedical Fire control room. The handle on the main glass door Mitchell Walkway side of NICTA Building has fallen off, I have also noticed that the same glass door is rubbing against the other door which is causing it not to close The Central ave north entry boom gate is sometimes not rising when people take a ticket. Fox 1 has reset the boom gates but the problem still happening A downlight has come loose at Bay 16 ground floor near the central stairs The second eastern push bar door at Bay 8 slams when it closes as its lost its resistance. Bay 4 Main entry auto doors are not securing completely. They are leaving about a 6 inch gap when they are closing

The inner entrance door to Bay 15 is coming apart (see attached photo) and this is stopping the door closing which will be a problem when the door goes on auto lock tonight

Industrial Relations There is no known industrial relations issues affecting this contract and none are expected to arise. There have been no industrial relations actions during the month of April and no hours have been lost due to industrial action since commencing the contract.

There have been no reported workplace injuries during April and no reported injuries since contract commencement. No hours have been lost due to workplace injuries.

Complaints No complaints have been received by Jones XL Pty Limited during April.

Licences and Insurance SECURITY MASTER LICENCE Jones XL Pty Limited is the holder of Security Master Licence Number 407413245. Valid until the 18th September 2013.

Child Protection Compliance Jones XL Pty Limited complies with the provisions of the Child Protection (Prohibited Employment) Act 1998 (NSW) and the Commission for Young Peoples Act 1998 (NSW).

Payment of wages and compliance with the Award Jones XL Pty Limited certifies that all wages and entitlements payable in connection with the service of the contract have been paid.

Security of sub contract payments Jones XL Pty Limited does not employ any sub contract service in the performance of this contract.

INFORMATION Reports containing information that is not related to an incident or other reporting category where the information is required for record or dissemination.

ALARM- INTRUDER A response to an alarm that’s primary purpose is to detect intruders. This category includes all alarms from intruder detection systems regardless of the cause of the activation. Confidential

ALARM- DURESS/ HOLD UP

A response to a manually activated duress/ hold up alarm. This category only includes accidental or “false” alarms as a genuine event would be reported in its correct category eg Armed Hold Up.

ALARM- FIRE A response to an alarm that’s primary purpose is to detect fire. This category includes all alarms from fire detection systems regardless of the cause of the activation with one exception. Arson events are filed under there own category.

ALARM- EQUIPMENT A response to an alarm that’s primary purpose is to monitor building systems or equipment function.

ARSON A report of a fire event that is reasonably suspected as being deliberately started.

LATE TO CLOSE Report of an intruder alarm that has not been armed at the scheduled time where it is determined that the alarm has been deliberately left unarmed by the key holder or tenant. Usually initiated by an external monitoring company.

NO SEAL Report of an intruder alarm that has not been armed at the scheduled time. Whether due to an oversight or an alarm fault. Includes no seal on individual zones (Partial Seal).

LET IN/OUT Report of access given outside a facilities normal operating hours after appropriate authorisation.

MALICIOUS DAMAGE Report of reckless or deliberate damage to the property of the principal, the principals clients or visitors.

THEFT Reports of thefts of property. Includes thefts from a person. Includes unsuccessful attempts.

ASSAULT Reports of physical assault. Includes reports where the victim declines to report the incident to police.

BREAK AND ENTER Reports of unlawful entry to premises, however it occurs. Includes unsuccessful attempts. Confidential

MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT Any incident involving accidental damage caused by a motor vehicle.

OTHER Reports categorised as other usually contain information recorded that is of primarily of internal concern to Australian Security Concepts and/ or do not have a more appropriate category. They are most commonly entries made in training or entries made by the Securesuite reporting system administrator. To maintain consecutive numbering of incident reports Australian Security Concepts does not delete incident report numbers nor does it reuse report numbers.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON/S Reports on the activity of persons whose intentions are suspected of being adverse to the wellbeing of the principal or principals enterprise where their actions do not constitute other criminal acts.

ACCIDENT/ INJURY Reports of accidents or injuries reported, whether or not first aid is administered by security. Also includes incidents of severe illness and any incident where a person is transported from the principals’ premises by ambulance regardless of the cause.

ARMED HOLD UP Reports of incidents where a weapon is used to obtain property from a person.

BOMB THREAT Reports of any threat to detonate an explosive device on the principals’ premises.

SUSPICIOUS PARCEL Reports involving parcels, packages or luggage that is left unattended at or near the principals’ premises. Reports involving parcels, packages or articles of mail that has markings that raise doubts as to the contents or that is delivered in a manner that raises doubts about its contents.

MAINTENANCE Reports containing information relevant to the maintenance of the principals’ premises or equipment where the information is too great or complex to be conveyed by an Occurrence Pad Entry.

PARKING Reports related to parking management at the principals premises.

AGGRESSIVE PERSON/S Reports related to aggressive behaviour of persons on the clients premises that do not constitute assault or other criminal act.
