A Tribute: (to Hugh S. MacDonald, Kilmuir, who died march 11, 1933) We well remember a year ago today, When our Dear Uncle Hugh was called away. In the old home where He was held so Dear, His gentle voice we never more shall hear. And as we looked upon his face that day, “He had no enemies” We heard someone say. He bore no hatred in his heart-ah then! He loves his God who loves his fellowmen. A Soldier, good and worthy of the name, He did not fight for title or for fame. He served his King beside the fallen brave, “The paths of glory lead but to the grave”. Composed by Mrs A.J. (Bella)MacLeod
