All around the earth God is raising up houses of prayer. On June 5 of this year, over 550,000(you read it right) new commitments to build them were made, not including the USA. In the past 3 months, the Asian (oriental ethnicity) Church has already opened THOUSANDS of them(if I remember right it’s over 5,000). The reality that there is a place that a disciple of Jesus can go ANYTIME and enter into worship and meditative/intercessory prayer is a powerful reality. It’s so exciting to watch God make such a radical move, so quickly in this generation of believers
(generation being all believers currently living). The combination of worship and intercession, or a harp and bowl as stated in revelation as I believe it to symbolize is a powerful reality coming out of the heart of God for us. He longs for them to be constant and combined within His Church and He is bringing it to pass(“My house shall be called a house of prayer”-Isaiah 56:7). I’m so happy to be able to partner with the Lord like this. I GET to stand between 12am and 6am interceding on behalf of family, friends and the nations. Watching the Lord move through my prayers in impacting each person & circumstance. Know that your support is helping to affect the Kingdom of God.

Night Unto Night Ministries
Me singing on my worship team!
“So...whats new???” October was a great month! Not that anything really changed, but, it has just been an enjoyable past few weeks. I have felt a very deep drawing by the Holy Spirit to enter into deeper more sincere prayer for each of you. I am choosing to spend an entire night each month to pray for
you. My goal is to pray for you by going through the “FELLOWSHIP” document that I sent out with my last letter (sadly that was a while ago...my apologies for taking so long to get another letter out!!!). If you didn’t get it, let me know and I’ll send it to you. It makes prayer for others so smooth and specific. This month I could use some
prayer for something specific. This year I will be staying here for the holidays. This is my first year being away from home for them. Just thinking about not being home is kind of sad. Your prayers are appreciated. I’ll miss my family and miss being able to see you. I do plan on coming home in February though. And I’ll be home for a couple weeks, that way I’ll be able to spend some time with each of you. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving! May Jesus fill your hearts with gratitude and peace as you gather with loved ones and feast! Thank you for your prayers and support. Your sowing into me is actually into the Kingdom of God!
I don’t get it...why “night unto night”? First, for the obvious reason...I pray during the night!!! But, reality is, I actually have a rhyme and reason to it. The phrase “Night Unto Night” comes from Psalm 19:2 which reads: Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge. One of the key verses that we pray ALL THE TIME here at IHOP-KC is Ephesians 1:17: that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give
you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him. The point of both of these verses is a heart cry that the Holy Spirit gave to each of the writers…“I want to know You, God!” In all that I do, whether it be work, pray, read and even when hanging out with others, I want to know more of who He is. And He has given us access to know more of Him by His Spirit. So it
just seems fitting to call my ministry, I want to know you in the night, God! or “night unto Night!”...FYI:)
