SECRETARY REPORT: Thank you notes for the awesome help that we received for the Fall Breakfast were sent to: Diane Moore and Gale Cross (for amazing cooking and preparation), the 5th and 6th grade class for their participation and smiles, to Koreen & Jake Henne of the Green Mountain Smokehouse (for donating the most delicious bacon!!!), Bill Shaugnessy of the country store in town (for the scrumptious homemade sausage), Jim & Sue Mulder (for the donation of their locally made maple syrup). I also want to thank all of the volunteers who pitched in to set up and wash dishes, wipe counters, cleaning tables, all of the donated food, and best of all the laughter and pure enjoyment of eating breakfast with our fellow neighbors and community members!!! Acknowledgment letters were sent out to folks who gave cash donations that were triggered by the Believe fundraiser. A request for $25.00 towards the purchase of ink cartridges for my home printer, which is used to print the majority of PTO business, was approved. Thank You. TREASURER REPORT: Checking balance is $5,897.88, this balance includes as of today $1613.00 from the Believe fundraiser, and this amount will vary based on internet sales that will be coming in., $235.00 in cash donations. The fall breakfast profit was $434.29; we had 57 adults and 24 kiddos. A better turn out than last year!!! Thank you. And $2,500 is projected for the ski/board program which is due December 4th. BELIEVE FUNDRAISER: Yielded better sales that the fall bulb sales last year however a consensus was that if given a choice between the two, fall bulb fundraiser would be the winner. We fear the products of the Believe fundraiser are not the quality we had hoped for. This will prove to be seen when we receive the shipment next week. And the bulbs keep on giving year after year (unless you have a critter) and it’s a Vermont product. We will discuss other fall fundraisers for next year. Any and all ideas are encouraged and welcome!!!! FALL BREAKFAST: A source not mentioned said that the kitchen was the cleanest it has ever been left. A wonderful turnout of people, a great blend of ages, Great local food, and good spirits all around. A community member was so moved he wanted to have this breakfast every month. We did discuss that it would not be possible every month but maybe more meals throughout the year would be a good possibility. Another suggestion seen at another school in Vermont was to have an “open cafeteria” for the public to have a real breakfast spot right here in town, in our school cafeteria. Great idea to explore more. BAKE SALE: Baking pies with the kiddos at the school will be on Friday Nov. 20th at 12:30. A sign up is in the foyer of the school. However if you can’t sign up you can just come to the school on the 20th at 12:30 and we’ll put you to work with the kids. Selling the baked goods will be at the town hall between 9am-12pm with the famous Chris Titus and the Gang. We will be serving hot cups of mulled cider at the bake sale for $1.00 and all proceeds for the cider will go to the Giving Project. RAFFLE: The Recreation Commission has purchased a 52” LCD Flat Screen Full HDTV which retails at $1548.00, to raffle off by Dec. 19th. The Rec. approached the PTO because the ski/board program is a program that fits right into their mission. So we will try and sell

what tickets we can and the PTO will get half of the profit at the end of the raffle which is projected at $750.00. We can use all of the salesmen and woman we can get, so if you or someone you know would be interested in purchasing a ticket please call Rayna at school: 484-7230 or Tim Bishop at home: 484-3354. Thank you CHRISTMAS BAZAAR: Is on December 5th 9am-1:00pm with Santa visiting at 11:00am. The spot for a PTO Santa’s workshop is still up in the air. We will be looking into our school closets for craft ideas and a donation of ready made frames will be an option. $1.00 to make present and it’s wrapped up too. SKI/BOARD PROGRAM: Koreen is heading this program up and is receiving information but no update on that yet. We talked about alternatives to skiing and boarding for kids that don’t want to ski. Ice skating and swimming. We are also going to check with Meg Gallagher about the parent volunteer policy. No December PTO meeting Happy Holidays to all Thank you for your ongoing support of our mission!!! Next PTO meeting will be on Tuesday, January 12th @6:30 Adjourned at 8:00pm

Respectfully Submitted, Amy Harkins PTO Secretary
