Dear all! We hope ehhh.. Sorry, we were still in the Saint Patrick's Day mood! We hope you have all enjoyed the party @ Mick O'Connell's (or somewhere else of course..) If you want to participate in another great activity, we would like you to know that there will be a BOLLYWOOD-themed filmnight this Thursday!! Enjoy!

  

Dear Albion‐members!     Next Thursday, 26 March, our next Filmnight will be held :)!  We got inspired by the fantastic 8 Oscarswinning film "Slumdog Millionaire", and as it got us  all into the BOLLYWOOD mood we decided to delight you all with a bit more of that  beautiful filmgenre!    So this Filmnight will be our one and only Bollywood Filmnight, and after much research on  the perfect Bollywood film, we got you the best Bollywood film ever, according to insiders ;)!  The title will not ring a bell to you, as not many of you will understand Hindi, but we can tell  you that the film is a true Bollywood film but it's one of the more modernised Bollywood  films, so there will not be too much Bollywood dancing in it.   1

   We thought we might play it safe in case half of you would get bored of all the Bollywood  dancing in the film and would run out of our cinema ;). The story is also one of the more  modern ones, so it's easier to relate to it than to other, more old‐fashioned Bollywood films.  So it's a good start if you'd like to see a Bollywood film but you do not want to be rushed into  the dancing and Bollywood culture that extremely fast ;).     So if you'd like to get to know the Bollywood culture better, or if you just like to see a good  film, please visit our Filmnight and we'll make sure your Bollywood experience will be one to  remember ;)! All non‐Albion members are most welcome too, of course, so if you'd like to  bring any of them, please drag them with you to our Filmnight, as more people=more fun ;)!

Geloof je ogen niet     In de Studium Generale‐serie 'Geloof je ogen niet' geven Utrechtse wetenschappers uit   verschillende vakgebieden dubbellezingen over de aard en noodzaak van visuele   geletterdheid in de wetenschap. Aan de hand van beelden waarmee zij in hun onderzoek in   aanraking komen, laten ze zien waar je op moet letten om niet in de illusie van een plaatje   te trappen en het kritisch te duiden.
