 Nice to Meet You First… elcome to my class. My name is Mrs. Elizabeth and I will be your 1st grade teacher for the year. I am otherwise known as Mrs. Nisley, Elizabethean, or Queen Elizabeth. I prefer the latter.  I am looking forward to meeting all of you and preparing you for life as a second grader!

Technology First! Our first grade class will be using focusing on integrating technology into the classroom. We will focus on three main themes that include:

 Basic internet navigation  Simple keyboarding  Basic computer skills These themes will be incorporated in the classroom curricula. Don’t fear the computer. It is our friend!

First of the Month Reminders  Please help your child make ONE Valentines card to trade with a classmate.  As the season’s change please dress children appropriately and label with child’s initials.  The book fair is fast approaching and orders will be due by March 1st  Any parents who would like to volunteer in the classroom please email me at: [email protected]
