5.11 협약에 대해 - 엘오브이님과의 인터뷰 최근 퀴즈의 세계에는 새로운 바람이 불고 있다. 바로 문제 출제라는 바람이다. 그 바람은 나날이 거세어 지고 있다. 지금은 수행평가 시즌으로 많이 바쁨에도 불구하고 문제의 수는 전성기와 비슷하다. 이러한 바람은 어디에서부터 시작이 된 것일까? 바로 5.11 협약이다. 5.11 협약의 효과는 놀랍다. 같은 문제를 출제하는 회원들 사이에는 경쟁이 붙었으며, 협약을 맺지 않은 회원들까지도 문제를 대량 출제하고 있다. 그 덕분에 두뇌는 급속도로 발전하고 있다. 하지만 아직 5.11 협약은 미스테리이기만 하다. 아직 만들어 진지 10 일밖에 되지 않았을 뿐만이 아니라, 퀴세에서는 좀처럼 볼 수 없던 현상이기 때문이다. 덕분에 5.11 협약을 완벽하게 아는 사람은 얼마 되지 않는다. 그래서 5.11 협약의 주체인 엘오브이를 인터뷰했다. Q1. 5.11 협약은 어떻게 해서 맺어졌나요? 5.11 협약이 맺어진 데에서는 두 가지의 배경이 있었습니다. 바로 채팅방의 임시적인 개방과 저의 컴백이었습니다. 5 월 5 일에 잠시 채팅방에 열린 것이 5.11 협약에 큰 영향을 끼쳤는데, 그 이유는 5.11 협약은 채팅에 의해 만들어 졌기 때문입니다. 그리고 제가 컴백할 때 낚시 글을 올렸지 않았습니까? 진짜 컴백임이 밝히고 난 뒤에는 대다수의 회원들이 장난으로 넘겼지만, 저는 여전히 뭔가 불안했습니다. 그리고 때를 맞추어서 채팅방에서 추방을 당했죠. 그러한 불안감으로 나는 무언가를 해야겠다고 생각을 했습니다. 그것이 바로 5.11 협약을 낳게 되었습니다. 그런데 솔직히 처음부터 5.11 협약을 생각한 것은 아니었습니다. 채팅을 하다가 문제수로 이어진 것이 바로 머리 속에 스쳤습니다. 그리고 피트의 말에 동시 협약을 맺은 것입니다. 이것이 바로 5.11 협약의 시초였습니다.

Q2. 5.11 협약을 지키실 예정이신가요? 당연히 지켜야 한다고 생각합니다. 만약 지키지 않을 생각으로 만들었다면 협약은 원래부터 성사되지 않았습니다. 협약은 서로의 약속입니다. 게다가 이렇게 판을 크게 벌인 판에는 지켜야죠. 2 조 10 항을 보면 모든 조항은 강제성을 띤다고 쓰여 있습니다. 이것과 같습니다. 돈을 건 이유도 바로 이것 때문이죠. Q3. 7 년 후 카페가 폐쇄되어있으면 어떡할 것인가요? 아마 퀴세의 회원이라는 카페는 워낙 크고 알려진 카페이기 때문에 폐쇄될 가능성은 거의 없다고 생각합니다만. 그래도 생각은 해야겠군요. 저도 그런 생각은 해 두었는데.. 지금 제가 생각한 것은 5.11 협약을 맺은 사람만의 카페를 만들어서 만약 폐쇄가 된다고 결정이 나면 저는 즉시 카페를 만들어서 5.11 협약을 계속해서 지킬 수 있게 할 것입니다. 물론 그것 마저 안 된다면.. 협약은 없어지겠죠. 현재 생각으로는 5.11 협약 카페를 기말고사가 끝나면 만들 예정입니다. 그래서 게시물을 판단하기 쉽게 말이죠. 또 그 사람들 간에 메시지도 빠르게 전달 할 수 있게. Q4. 앞으로도 5.11 협약에 참여할 사람을 모을 건가요? 5.11 협약을 만들고 저는 5.11 협약은 아마 3 명만 할 것이라고 생각했습니다. 왜냐하면 이 협약이 제가 봐도 무서운 협약이거든요. 스키테일님을 시작으로 자연사랑, 백건, 강태공, 클링, 염화수소, Virtue 이렇게 10 명이 들어왔습니다. 그러자 백건이 이제 그만 모으자는 글을 썼습니다. 이유는 바로 너무 많이 받으면 문제가 묻힐 가능성이 크다는 것이었습니다. 그 의견에는 저도 동의를 했고 그래서 그 날 이후로는 더 이상 협약을 맺는 사람을 받지 않고 있습니다. 하지만 개인적으로는 1~2 명을 더 받을 생각입니다. 아마 1 명 받고 그만 둘 가능성이 있겠군요. 물론 채팅창이 닫힌 지금은 매우 힘들겠지만요. Q5. 5.11 협약에 대해서 설명해주실수 있나요? 5.11 협약은 간단히 말해서 7 년 안에 회원들이 정해진 문제의 수를 쓰는 것입니다. 저는 1100 개의 추리를 , 피트는 500 개의 HOB 를, 자명종님은 800 개의 문제를, 스키테일님은 650 개의 복면산을, 자연사랑님은 7 만개의 덧글을, 백건님은 1000 개의 문제를, 강태공은 800 개의 낚시와 1600 명을 속여야 하고, 클링은 800 개의 문제를. 염화수소는 900 개의 문제를, 마지막으로 Virtue 는 629 개의 문제를 내야 합니다. 단 자명종님과 백건, 클링과 염화수소님의 문제는 넌센스나, 자음퀴즈, 역 있다없다 퀴즈 등 내기 간단한 퀴즈는 제외합니다. Virtue 가 629 개인 이유는 자신의 생일이 6 월 29 일이기 때문입니다. 그 결과 회원들에게는 문제 출제라는 바람이 불게 되었죠. 대표적인 예는 HOB 를 들 수 있습니다. 전에는 1 달 동안 1 문제도 올라오지 않았는데, 지금은 10 일 동안 4 문제나 올렸습니다. 그 뿐만이 아니라 추리 퀴즈는 매일 10~20 문제가 올라오고 있죠. 또 경쟁이 치열하고요. 어쩌면 카페 등급을 올릴 수도 있겠군요. Q7. 마지막으로 할 말 부탁 드립니다. 5.11 협약은 좋은 점도 있지만 나쁜 점도 있습니다. 특별한 일이 벌어질 수도 있어 못 지킬 가능성도 있고, 굉장히 스트레스를 줄 수도 있다는 것이죠. 또 5.11 협약을 지키는 사람들의 혜택이 없어서 솔직히 그게 조금 고민이죠.. 한마디로 하면 채찍은 있는데 당근이 없다고 할까요? 그래도 카페 전체의 이익을 위해 개인의 불편함은 벗어야죠. 앞으로도 5.11 협약을 계속 지켜봐 주시길 바랍니다. 참.. 그리고 나랑 같은 9 명. 몇 명은 자발적으로 참여했겠지만 몇 명은 농담 한 마디에 참여했겠지요. 그래도 이미 엎질러 진 물. 피할 수 없으면 즐겨라! 라는 말이 있습니다. 문제 수에만 한 숨을 푹푹 쉬지 말고, 열심히 노력하는 모습을 보여주는 것이 어떨까요?
