Personal Profile I am a highly intelligent, hard working, team player. I dress smartly and am always punctual. I have seven years experience language teaching and teacher training, as well as experience in sales and administration and web design. I began teaching EFL in Taiwan in 2002. I worked there for 18 months, as a form teacher to a group of 19, 6 – 8 year old boys and girls. For the past two years I have taught at Stafford House School of English, Canterbury Kent, teaching both juniors and adults including IELTS and business English. I have also been involved in teacher training and development as well, running several sessions on the MA TESOL program at Canterbury Christ Church University in ICT. Teacher Training and ICT Canterbury Christ Church University Kent. I have run several sessions for Canterbury Christ Church University in the area of ICT. This typical involves one or two, two hour sessions covering areas such as Using the Internet for Self Study and in Class teaching. Using the internet for collaborative projects, such as School/ Class WIKI, Blogging, Podcasting, Class website Notice boards and walls, etc. This is covered both as an academic session looking at the pedagogical virtues and vices of ICT and as a hands on practical session where teachers can learn how to use these facilities for themselves.

Stafford House School of English Canterbury Kent. I have work for Stafford house since January 2007. I have performed duties as an EFL Teacher. Teaching Children and adults from ages 14 – 36 typically. The groups I have taught have come from a variety of different nationalities, ethnic and religious backgrounds. I have taught both general English classes and specific class Exam skills IELTS PET FCE etc and Business English. I have also taken guided tours of many tourist sites manly in Southern England and London. In addition to this I have also run sports activities.
Concorde International Canterbury, Kent. I worked for Concorde for three months during summer 2006 after completion of my CELTA. I taught on their junior program teaching English to children as young as 8 up to 18 years. I also worked on their social program taking tours to various tourist sites.
ESL Teaching Overseas Jin Ju Wonderland. Jin Ju S. Korea March 2004 – October 2004 My Job involved teaching four Kindergarten classes in the Morning daily Monday to Friday and six Middle school classes from 2pm to 7:30pm Monday to Friday. I was responsible for a large number of children typically ten children in my kindergarten class and up to twenty in the middle school, a mix of boys and girls. This included the preparation of class work, tests, marking and writing of reports for each child. I worked as part of a team of three foreign English teachers and three Korean English teachers, full time for a sixmonth contract period. After which I went to Tokyo Japan.
Penguins American Pre School Taipei Taiwan ROC. July 2002 ~ August 2003 At Penguins American Pre School I acted as a form teacher for a group of 19 Five and Six year olds (14 boys and 5 girls) in conjunction with a Chinese support teacher. We taught a full curriculum daily in English from 9 am to 12 30 am then from 2 30 pm to 4 pm. I was responsible for both the children’s education and wellbeing. I was also expected to write a comprehensive biweekly report for each child. I taught a full range of subjects Math English Science Art Music
Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division. Times tables and Geometry. Grammar, Reading, Writing and Spelling including Phonics and Pronunciation. Basic ideas including: Hot and Cold Expansion and Contraction Light and heavy. Drawing Painting etc. Nursery Rhymes and other English songs The Beatles etc.
Idea School Taipei Taiwan. ROC Jan 2003 – August 2003 I was the teacher for an after school program I had two groups of 10 to 14 year olds from 4 30pm to 7 30pm three days a week, teaching an ESL program: using The Let’s Go series, English Time and Mr. Bugs. We stuck mainly to the books, following the exercises and keeping up to date with both the workbook and student book.
Ji~ Lung Elementary Ji ~ Lung City Taiwan. ROC. August –September 2003 I was the team leader teacher for a summer camp for sixty children. We covered a variety of topics from; the weather, different countries and capitals to teenagers and music.
