Minimundus – the miniature world on Lake Wörthersee – presents around 140 of the most beautiful buildings from all over the world, perfectly reconstructed on a scale of 1:25 using original materials (marble, tuff, basaltic lava, etc.) when technically feasible.

The museum tramway (some of the vehicles are more than 100 years old) takes you from the departure point at the “Buffet zur Tramway” via an idyllic route through protected landscape to an exhibition on regional traffic in Klagenfurt as it was in the past.

St. Peter’s in Rome is just steps away from the Taj Mahal, and the CN tower lies within a stone’s throw of the Petra treasure house.

Tip: Every Wednesday in July, August and early September, cruises are offered under the motto “Nostalgia by ship and tram”. Leaving from the Lido restaurant. (Prices: adults € 11.00, children (6 – 14 years) € 5.50, families € 27.50, group prices upon request). The Kärnten Card is valid for nostalgic cruises!
