The Club donated to the Pink Street Party in Buffalo in honor of those we know that have been touched by cancer.

The Hayride took place on a cold snowy morning. October 10th
A few of us participated in Make A Difference Day on October 17th. 90 cards were made in 2 hours.

HOLIDAY SERVICE PROJECT During our November meeting we would like to continue with Service Projects. Since we are able to use the VFW free of charge for our meetings - what better way to give back!!
We would like to put together care packages for our hospitalized veterans at the St Cloud VA Medical Center, for the upcoming Holiday season. Some of these items will be used as prizes for other activities and events.
Looking for donations of : Socks Slippers - not the crocheted variety. Reading glasses
Personal care items to include but not limited to: bars of soap deodorant disposable razors (lady ones too) shave lotion shampoo no mouthwash or anything with alcohol in it.
Large print puzzle books
6 pk and 12 pk of Pop snack-ie type of foods such as: fruit snacks, cookies, cheese crackers, kind with peanut butter etc.. Gift Cards for Fast Foods
Please bring to the November 19th Meeting - we will collect and create the care packages. If you would like to donate and cannot make it to the meeting - please contact Merissa 612-232-8989.
If you have leftover Christmas cards or any cards - can be used and recycled - we will be creating more cards to send to the Troops. For those of you that missed the Make a Difference Day - we made over 90 cards in the 2 hours there. Thanks to all those who attended.
