Greet the students – Talk about the weekend – Give them the tests – Set the objective for the class (prepare the reading test)
Introduction
Core of the class Pre-stage 20 min.
While-stage
They have to make predictions about the story that they have to read. The students are going to read a text. First in silence, and then, some students are going to read it at loud. They are going to share their opinions about the text.
25 min.
The students have to answer questions in pairs in relation to the text. They create 5 more questions about the text.
Post-stage
15 min.
They ask the questions to another classmate. The students share their answer with the class.
Closing
5 min.
As homework, they have to do a reading activity from the book. (page 63)
