UPDATES Grade 9 Election Feedback  Remembering candidates' faces was a challenge  Alas, remedies (pictures, video screens) seem to be too troublesome Club Applications  This Tuesday, Fiona, Mr. MacPhail and Mr. Glezakos will approve clubs  The first president's club meeting will be next week (date undetermined)  Jason, Fiona, Zimu, Mr. MacPhail will be present  Rules and regulations will be distributed there (inventory sign out sheet will be explained) Spirit Day  Theme: Crrrazy Hair Day!  Candy will be awarded for spirit from executives st  Advertising will begin October 1 Halloween Dance Dates th  Start Advertising: October 9 th  Start Selling: October 10 th th  Oct. 15 -17 $4 th rd  Oct. 20 -23 $5 th th  Oct. 27 -30 $6  At the door $8 rd  Drop Dead Date: October 23 (150 tickets)  Publicity th th  Thursday and Friday before ticket selling (9 and 10 ) th th th  Posters up Thurs. morning (October 9 ) – poster party on Mon. Oct 6 and continue on Wed. Oct 8 th  Ticket making: Zimu (design), done by October 15 Other Dance Tidbits  Cost: $590 for DJ  Security has been taken care of (Should be present at event 30 minutes before start of dance and stay 30 minutes after the end of the dance)  Revolutionary!  Dance Name: undecided – continue brainstorming! (alternatives: Twisted, Dark Night, we're still open for new ideas)

Decorations Budget: $25 as of current Teacher Advisor Options: Cheng, Doganoglu, MacKinlay, John, Pugh, Sinatra, Proudian, Christopolous, Mackay, Sartor, Borshiov, Valis (+Administration) Best costume prize will be awarded at the dance (not necessarily a promotion, but a surprise for those at the dance)

Safety Week  For the next 3 days, the announcements will feature a briefing on 1 of 3 safety issues  Our 3 topics will be Drinking and Driving, Internet Safety and Fire Safety
