Spatial/Visual Content: 6th Grade Science Topic: Layers of the Earth Activity: Students will create a foldable of the layers of the Earth. This will allow students with this intelligence to get a visual representation of the layers of the earth and their characteristics. Materials: Construction paper, scissors, glue, blank sheet with layers of earth, color pencils/markers, and pencils.
Linguistic-Verbal Content: 6th Grade Science Topic: Layers of the Earth Activity: Students will write a story in which they will pretend to travel to the center of the Earth. They should describe what they see and how the surface feels as they go through each layer. This activity is for linguistic-verbal learners, because it involves writing stories and using words and description. Materials: Notebook paper, class notes, and a good imagination 😊
