Attached to this memorandum is a list of the mosques in the greater San Diego, CA area. The mosques associated with either Nawaf al-Hazmi, Khalid al-Mihdhar or other witnesses are as follows: The Islamic Center of San Diego (ICSD) 7050 Eckstrom Avenue, San Diego, CA 92111 Telephone number 858-278-5240 The ICSD was attended by al-Hazmi and al-Mihdhar, along with witnesses Abdulsattar Shaikh, Omar al-Bayoumi, and Caysan bin Don. Shaikh stated that he first met al-Hazmi and al-Mihdhar at this mosque. Masjid ar-Ribat al-Islami 7173 Saranac Street, La Mesa, CA 92115 Telephone number 619-589-6200 The ar-Ribat Mosque had as imam in 2000, Anwar Aulaqi. Both al-Hazmi and alMihdhar were known to have attended this mosque. Aulaqi left the mosque in the latter part of the year 2000 and became the imam of the Dar al-Hijra mosque in Falls Church, VA, which was also attended by al-Hazmi and al-Mihdhar. Aulaqi admits contact with the hijackers at both mosques. Masjid an-Nour 3872 50th Street, San Diego, CA 92105 Telephone number 619-282-9343 The an-Nour mosque is also known as the "Somali" mosque. Fahad al-Thumairy, imam of the King Fahad Mosque, Culver City, CA, and a Saudi consular officer was to be the guest preacher at this mosque when it opened in 2000. According to Shaikh, alThumairy was late, missed the religious service but attended the dinner at the Aswan Restaurant. Al-Thumairy admits when interviewed; only traveling to San Diego on two occasions. This is one of the occasions.

Al-Bayoumi was picking up religious publications and Korans for this mosque when he visited the Saudi Arabian mosque in Los Angeles, CA on 02101/2000. Masjid U sman 7126 Westview Place, Lemon Grove, CA Telephone number 619-463-4379 This is the mosque founded by Abdulsattar Shaikh.
