The process of creation at individual or universal levels is said to begin with a desire which sets in a ripple disturbing the equilibrium of existing system. Desire itself may be caused by ignoring the Truth or by lack of knowledge of it. Wrong identification of a Soul which is described to be the inner living being with its pseudo associate, Ego/body instead of its Source (SELF), tantamounts to ignorance. Following this an energy field/shield, Maya or delusion springs forth, manifests as power of differentiation and creates a medium for the experiences of the EgoSoul. Misunderstanding, misapprehension, misconception, imagination, superimposition, daydreaming, indifference and the like are all akin to wrong identification by a Soul and lead to activities not actually intended by it... MAYA When I saw the rainbow as a child felt great at what I discovered Spectacular display of huge bow across the sky seven colored No matter elders told me, nothing special for you happened Sunlight split by water bubbles, mere product of eyes and mind In a summer as I was traveling while on camps Shouting was I finding sort of water in the middle of roads Only to find none when I reached proper spots Some thing usual, even those living here go through such spells Not inattention but instant misapprehension, said locals Mirage, what we think we saw, never exists though real it seems Once walking in dark I was about to step on a snake lying ahead Was instantly overtaken by intense feeling of shock and fear A lantern bearer passing by brought clarity back to my senses Little did I realize, it did not even move to hurt me or save itself Panic moments of anxiety of past few minutes sounded a myth Snake imagined in a rope, superimposition, made false seem true Continuous flow in quick succession of water particles So fast that our perception is unable to grapple Deludes as a solid river with force and deafening sound Though there is nothing like a river itself in fact Resembling flow of electrons making up current Trillions of cells living integrally appearing like a body Though live and die singly replaced by new ones incessantly From childhood we live with fear of going to hell if we sin With joy, of going to heaven if follow our religious regimen Neither do we know if they exist for certain Nor if mechanical regimen leads to one or the other Immersed in materialistic pursuits rarely question our beliefs Willfully lead lives surrendering to shallow preachers Ignorance reigning with intellects voluntarily forsaken Maya or delusion coloring our comprehension Giving us false sense of satisfaction and gratification

Albeit limited in consciousness, we assume We are the origin of a child we beget Proclaim as ours and so raise the child Inspired by our beliefs and our dreams for them Painfully begin to learn as the child grows to adulthood Neither source nor the cause parents are, just instrumental A soul plans and takes birth willfully but forgets past soon Only arrives here through parents, not caused by either One boards and gets off a train where and when one has to Train neither responsible for his getting in nor getting out Simply facilitates journey for those needing to Assuming ownership and control over his travel plans Surely, defies its constitution, role and defeats purpose Thus is delusion of mistaken ownership blinding all It is the inspiring power enabling us to rear the child Ignoring or denying this truth is major cause of strife One wearing colored glasses or any for that matter Disables himself to see things as they actually are Space, time, likes, dislikes and preferences Temptations, attractions and emotions good or bad Beliefs, traditions, sentiments and the like The steady assertions such as I am, me or mine Adversely modulate perceptions of all things Prevent from knowing things “as they are” Differentiate and cause actions in favor of ego Making false to seem true and true as false Is “Maya”, co-existent with “Life” as known The prime power creating and sustaining known world Both originating from “Awareness” absolute
