Eagle Cliffs PTA Board Meeting March 2019 Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 7:05 pm by Sara Schaeffer. In attendance were Kristen Engebretson, Shasta McCory, Sara Schaeffer. Approval of M inutes: Shasta approved January’s minutes, Sara seconded. Principal’s Report: No report Julie was gone. President’s Report: Bingo night at the 406 will be April 16th at 6 pm. April 24th is Administration Day aka (Crum Day) J May 1st is Principal’s Day. May 6-10th is Teacher Appreciation Week. Treasurer’s Report: No report. Old Business/Reviews: Taco John’s Food Night: Brought in about $250. Buffalo W ild W ings Food Night: Brought in about $260. Valentine Gram s: Sara reported that they went pretty well and brought in a decent profit. New Business: Pennies for Peytn Penny Drive: PTA is looking to honor the passing of a fellow 5th grade student by doing a Penny Drive in her honor. With the donated pennies we would make a memorial table, and use the remaining funds for school beautification. PTA is currently looking for a wishing well vortex for kids to drop their pennies in. Kindness Tree: Amy Hernandez would like design a tree that students would get to add a leaf to every time they are caught being kind. Yearbook: Order forms will be sent out mid March and are due back by April 4th. Kristen has been working on this year’s book. Original W orks: Teacher’s are working on it now. Basket Auction: Will be April 5th, 5-8:30 pm. PTA will be getting food for about 200; we will serve Sloppy Joes with chips and a pop. There will be a pre-sale of tickets Wednesday through Friday 7:45-8:15 of that week. Pre-sale will be 3 for $1 with a free raffle ticket with each purchase. Tickets purchased that night will be 2 for $1, and raffle tickets will be $1 each or 6 for $5. Doors open at 5 pm for food, games will run 5:30-7:15, and auction will be 7:30-8:30. M eeting Adjourned @ 8:15 pm motioned by Sara.
