BSSA Executive Board Meeting Minutes Monday, March 5, 2018 Present:

Meeting began at 4:30 PM Treasurer’s Report: Mike reviewed treasurer’s report. Current balance is:

$ 685.75 – M&T Checking Account (total checking)

Sunshine Committee: There have been a couple in the last month that need to be handled. Sick Bank: None Grievances: On-going health care grievance Complaints/Questions: Callie asked us to investigate the possibility of offering AFLAC to members – supplemental insurance paid for by members. Chris brought up the need for better communication of new members and those that leave the organization – to add and remove from email listserv. The question came up about floating adding a floating holiday(s) to the contract. Something that than be discussed before next negotiations. Old Business: None New Business: Approval by board to create a basket or raffle at the NYSUT SRP conference this coming weekend. Jamie and Tracie are attending.

The next monthly Board Meeting will take place on Monday, April 1 @ 4:30 p.m. – ISC-E
