Context: How are you? Expressing feelings

Teaching aids: CD, Flashcards of emotions, Missing Info worksheets Learner objectives:

Students will be able to explain a range of feelings and will also use the correct pronouns to talk about feelings

Anticipated problems for students: Forgetting books, etc so have some photocopied spare.

Solutions: Have some photocopied spare.

Personal Aims:

Improve relationship with the children try to learn at least 5 names. Set new guidelines for discipline

Anticipated problems for teacher: Lack of knowledge of names and possible control problems with it being the first class Solutions: Make sure name tags are worn and visible.. Explain 3 warnings and out! Then stick to it .

CD Introducing the characters. Ask questions i.e. what’s his name Listen to Dialogues and repeat practice with partners then call on partners to check, Practice dialogue with co-teacher. 3 times and have students practice in pairs then call some to demonstrate. Go through flashcards to ensure base knowledge. Use the giving out of flashcards method to get students talking
