practice safety measures of using a computer aware of health risks that are associated with using ICT. use some ways of preventing the health risks. discuss what is meant by the term “ergonomic.” look at how a suitable work area is set up. METHODS OF INSTRUCTION

Greet students and enquire whether they brought their pen drive and computer file. (2 minutes) LESSON DEVELOPMENT: (25 minutes) 1. On the IWB open the power point slides and explain regular use of computer and its causes. 2. Discuss how do we adopt from those health problems. 3. Discuss what is ‘ergonomics’. 4. Discuss some safety methods and issues. 5. Discuss about employer obligations. LESSON CLOSURE: Recap of the lesson (3minutes) Home activity: Ask the students to practice safety healthy rules at home while using their computers. TEACHING AIDS/MATERIALS: 1. Textbook 2. IWB 3.
