Turn on and turn off all the computer peripherals in the correct order. Find out the drive space and check how much space is available. Use the keyboards in a proper way. Explore functions of the keyboard. Use the short cut keys.

METHODS OF INSTRUCTION Greet students and enquire whether they brought their pen drive and computer file. (3 minutes)

LESSON DEVELOPMENT: (30 minutes) 1. On the IWB show the computer notes. 2. Discuss how we turn on and turn off the computers. 3. Then show them how we check the drive space. 4. Discuss about the keyboard functions. 5. Discuss and show them short cut keys.

LESSON CLOSURE: Recap of the lesson: (7 minutes) CLASS ACTIVITY: (20 minutes) Make some groups and ask some quiz questions for each group related to today’s’ lesson. After that give immediate feedback. Home activity:

Ask the students to try short cut methods at home.
