MEMF is managed by a team of dedicated & well to do professional form different communities. It may Please be noted that the services of MEMF are not limited to Malad area only but for the entire Brihan Mumbai. Different Activities of MEMF Educa tinal The Foundation help the needy and poor students by way of scholarships, school fees, note/test books, and school uniforms etc. The application received for aid are verified/scrutinized and perused by a team of members of the Foundation and the grants are sanctioned on merit cum basis. The Foundation has helped many students in the past. The brilliant/outstanding students are encouraged by trophies and rewards in a function where parents and well-wishers are invited. A:

Malad Ur du Night School , Malad (E) Malad Urdu Night School, Malad (E) was started by Malad Educational & Welfare Society, a Society established in the year 1970. Foundation takes care of every students in all respect i.e, Education, Healthcare etc.The school receives of Government grant every year. However the grant is not sufficient to meet all the needs of the school. As such all the expenses in excess the grant of the Government are met form the funds of the Foundation. The students studying are mostly form nearby slum B:

areas, poor and needy. Every care is taken to ensure that the money is spent efficiently. The result of last years S.S.C. was 54% . This further can be improved provided the Foundation gets more and more help forms its well-wishers and donors. We are glad to inform that recently the Foundation has received permission form Municipal authorities for adoption of two schools at Malad…namely. a : M.H.B. School No. 3 at gate No. 8, Malwani Malad (W),Mumbai-400 064. b : Pushpa Park Municipal School Malad (E),Munbai-400 097. We intend to improve the quality of education in these schools by providing necessary help to the students, encouraging the teachers by suitable ways, building parent-teacher relation and creating a type of confidence in them. All these can only be possible by your esteemed and kind support and help and we believe, Inshaa Allah, we wiss succeed. Gener al A id The routine activity of the Foundation is distribution of food-grains like wheat, rice,dal,sugar,oil etc to families of widows & Needy are registered with the Foundation after a deep scrutiny and investigation by a committee Constituting members and well-wishers of Foudation.There are at present 440 families there are 40 women form red light areas suffering form AIDS and neglected by the society. They are the members of As ha Mahi la Sans tha. The distribution is arranged at the official address fo the Foundation under Annadan Funct ion when well-known personalities and well-wishers are invited. We believe carrying out our activities unitedly without any differentiation. This has much been appreciated by the media who regularly publish this activity in their news papers & T.V. News. C:

Hea lth car e The Foundation is managing a Diagnostic Centre at Malad, a Dispensary named Abdul Rehman Tar Mohammed Charitable D:

Dispensary and an eye clinic namely Haji A Sttar Charitable Eye Clinic & an Accupressure Centre namely Late Jahangir. I. Poonawala Accupressure Centre. Apart form the above, the Foundation extends helps the needy for major medical treatments, to the possible extent as these treatments are very costly, the Foundation extends helps by arranging the costs form like minded NGOs and well-wishers. The system has worked very well in the past. Majo r Pr oject s Pr oposed The real purpose of starting MEMF was to establish a modern Educational Complex with all amenities and facilities like hostel, play ground, library,prayer room,gymnasium,workshop,laboratories etc under Educational Complex Project and housing for needy & poor families & a well equipped modern Hospital with all the facilities under Health Care Project. We very much glad to inform that one of our well-wishers Smt. Salma A. Adenwala was kind enough to donate a plot of land measuring 3.5 acres located at Kharki Tal : Shahpur Dist : Thane. We have received NOC for NA form gram Panchayat & Collector. The work of boundry wall is completed the concerned authorities have been approached for public utility services and the matter is in advanced stage.
