PRESS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE November 30, 2009 Killeen Police have arrested five suspects accused of robbing two Killeen residents at their home in the 900 block of Sutton Dr. during the early morning hours on Monday, November 30, 2009. Killeen Police responded to the 900 block of Sutton Dr. just at 1:00am after receiving a 911 call telling them the resident had just been robbed by several subjects who entered his house without permission and took his property; the victims also were assaulted during the robbery. The resident advised two females came to his residence, one of the females went inside his bedroom, the victim went to check on the female when the other female ran into the bedroom yelling that some guys came into the house and they were armed. The resident walked out of the bathroom to find three black males in his living room. One of the males was armed and yelled at him to get on the floor and give him everything; at the same time the other two males began hitting and kicking him. The resident’s brother was asleep in his room when he was awaken by two males telling him to get on the floor and began to assault him. The resident and his brother were able to get out of the house and get to a neighbor to call 911. Both males were treated at the scene by paramedics and released. Officers were given a description of the suspects who had just fled the area and a possible address of one of the females. Officers located the suspect vehicle and the apartment in the 1200 block of Bundrant Dr., the two occupants inside the apartment were identified as two of the suspects involved in the Robbery. Another officer saw two males and a female get into a white vehicle and leave the 1200 block of Bundrant; this vehicle was stopped by the officer in the 2900 block of E. Rancier; these three subjects were also identified as suspects involved in the Robbery. All the suspects were taken into custody and transported to the Killeen City Jail. Detectives had this case reviewed by the Bell County District Attorney’s Office and a complaint charging 17 year old Lorenzo Vicente Vargas, 21 year old Talitha Marie Anne Collins, 17 year old Roberto Jose Delucca, 18 year old Joshua Dionne Hopkins and 21 year old Jennifer Marie Adams each with Robbery. Justice of the Peace Garland Potvin set their bond at $100,000 each; they will be transferred to the Bell County Jail later today. This case continues to be investigated and information will be released as it becomes available.
