KARMA

Dedicated to:

His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swämi Çréla Prabhupäda Founder-Äcärya:

International Society for Krishna Consciousness

We live in a world where each one of us is unique.

Some are born

Fabulously Rich

Some are born

Wretchedly Poor

Some are born

Handsome

Some are born

Ugly

Some are born

Healthy & Strong

Some are born

Weak & Handicapped

Some are born

To Rich Parents

Some are born

Impoverished

Why GOD is partial to some

?

Another perplexing question …

Why do innocent children get killed ?

More so when many didn’t do anything wrong !!!

Why GOD is so unkind

?

Why GOD is so cruel

?

God cannot be… ALL POWERFUL & ALL MERCIFUL simultaneously

Some argue…

If God is… ALL POWERFUL…

…then He may not be ALL MERCIFUL…

as we see so many suffering s around us.

If God is… ALL MERCIFUL…

…then He may not be

ALL POWERFUL…

…as He seems incapable of alleviating the suffering.

Scriptures inform that God is

The Supreme Well-wisher

&

The Supreme Powerful

In the Bhagavad-gétä (9.29), Lord Kåñëa personally declares: samo ’haà sarvabhüteñu “I am equal to all.”

Then why this discrimination ?

In a law court

…the judge awards…

…rigorous imprisonment to one…

…and the same judge awards…

…lakhs of compensation to another.

Is he partial?

No!

Based activities Whyonisthe the judgeof individuals, the judge giving different gives different judgments, judgments? according to the law.

Likewise… karmaëä daiva-netreëa jantur dehopapattaye striyäù praviñöa udaraà puàso retaù-kaëäçrayaù

“Under the supervision of the Supreme Lord and according to the result of his work, the living entity, the soul, is given a particular type of body.”

Even Newton’s third law of motion states …

“Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.”

But who is witnessing our activities?

The Lord is seated in our heart as the Parmatma as a witness to our activities.

Lord Kåñëa says in the Bhagavad-gétä (8.6),

yaà yaà väpi smaran bhävaà tyajaty ante kalevaram taà tam evaiti kaunteya sadä tad-bhäva-bhävitaù

Lord Kåñëa says in the Bhagavad-gétä (8.6),

“Whatever state of being one remembers when he quits his body, O son of Kunté, that state he will attain without fail.”

In human form of life we have got developed intelligence to discriminate and lead responsible lives.

If we engage in sinful activities of

Illicit Sex …which are Meat Eating known as the four pillars of Gambling sinful life… Intoxication

…we will suffer…

… KARMIC Reactions

…and degrade to lower life forms.

If we lead responsible lives following religious principles & practicing …

Austerity

Sacrifice

Cultivation of Knowledge

Associating with Saintly Persons

We elevate graduall y to the kingdom of God.
